Activities

ASTEO Luxembourg is a professional of the financial sector (PSF) as an investment firm (Art. 24, 24-1, 24-2, 24-3) and specialized PSF (Art. 28-6) since October 20, 2014, as defined in the Law of April 5, 1993, as amended. Since that date, the company has been supervised by the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier). The prudential supervisory framework includes monitoring financial stability, activities, and staff. As a PSF, we are obliged to maintain confidentiality and information security regarding our clients' data.

Handling and Monitoring of Complaints

Information to be provided by the complainant:

• The subject of the complaint
• Contract, product, or service concerned by the complaint
• Person(s) targeted by the complaint
• Other parties involved

Procedure followed by ASTEO Luxembourg for handling each complaint:

Each complaint will be addressed during Management Committee meetings. To ensure the follow-up and traceability of complaints, a complaints tracking tool is implemented within the company. Upon receipt of the complaint, it is recorded in this tool. Within 10 days from receipt of the complaint, ASTEO Luxembourg will:

• respond to the complaint if it can be processed within this period,

or

• acknowledge receipt of the complaint to the client; on this occasion, ASTEO will inform the client of the complaint handling process and the time frame for a response, which shall not exceed 1 month.

The date of acknowledgment of receipt will be recorded in the complaints register. Complaints may be submitted by mail or email and should be sent to the following addresses:

If the handling of the complaint by the designated person at ASTEO does not provide a satisfactory response to the complainant, the complainant may submit their complaint to the CSSF. The CSSF is competent to receive complaints from clients of professionals under its supervision and may act as an intermediary to seek an amicable settlement.
